Nice Addition
The 3x focal lens works well but make sure you have a separate IR source. The one on the Spark Core is partially blocked by the lens. It gives a shadow on the far side view. I would not recommend using the lens with the goggle kit it is awkward unless you are stationary. If you need to see far off and bring it closer this is what you need. It is not too high powered so that your field of view is not very limited.

completely different things. 3x lens will not enhance the brightness or quality of the image. It will simply bring things closer and make them look bigger just like binoculars do. IT Illuminator actually provides more light for the night vision device to amplify so the image ends up being brighter.
