The Ultra Shot Pro Spec NV Reflex Sight with quick-detach mount from Sightmark is an unmagnified reflex sight designed for close-range targeting. This reflex sight includes four selectable reticle patterns, each with adjustable brightness for a range of shooting conditions. The Sightmark Ultra Shot Pro features InterLok, an internal locking mechanism that maintains zero by resisting shock caused by weapon recoil. Can you use an IR Illuminator with this sight or do you have to have a night vision sight also.

Answer
This is a daytime red dot sight. If you want to use it at night, you need to get a night vision monocular or goggles and switch UltraShot Pro to NV mode so it does not damage the night vision device. IR illuminator will do nothing by itself for this sight.
